THE RESILIENT LEADERSHIP FELLOWSHIP

Scandal-Proof
Your Church
or Business.

Build a culture where people are protected,
truth is welcomed, and leaders are accountable.

A 12-month fellowship with Danny Silk for pastors and ministry leaders who want to lead with love—and build the structures that help that love stand up under pressure.

Apply for the founding cohort

Application first. A conversation about fit. No instant enrollment.

“Scandal-proof” is an aspiration, not a guarantee. No program can prevent all misconduct or crises.

THE WORK BEFORE THE CRISIS

A healthy culture
doesn’t happen
by accident.

You can love your people deeply and still have blind spots in the way your organization handles power.

Hard conversations get delayed. Expectations stay unwritten. Loyalty can make it difficult to ask honest questions. And when pressure comes, good intentions alone aren’t enough.

The work is to build a culture where concerns can be raised, responsibility is clear, and no leader is beyond correction. A culture that protects people and earns trust through what it practices.

Begin that work before a crisis demands it.

THE RESILIENT LEADERSHIP FELLOWSHIP

Lead with love.
Build with accountability.

A year of guided work to translate your convictions into everyday leadership practices. Four connected areas. One healthier foundation.

01 /

Convictions
& clarity

Define what love, honor, truth, and accountability mean in practice. Put your commitments into words your team can understand—and question.

THE WORK: SHARED LEADERSHIP COMMITMENTS
02 /

Power
& responsibility

Clarify who makes decisions, who can challenge them, and where outside expertise is needed. Identify gaps in oversight and routes for raising concerns.

THE WORK: CLEAR ROLES & ACCOUNTABILITY
03 /

Communication
& confrontation

Practice difficult conversations without intimidation or avoidance. Learn to hear concerns, address behavior, and communicate with honesty under pressure.

THE WORK: COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS
04 /

Practices
& rhythms

Build feedback, reflection, and review into the life of your team. Make accountability an ongoing practice, rather than a statement on the wall.

THE WORK: HABITS THAT SUSTAIN CHANGE

A YEAR AT THE TABLE

Space to think.
Courage to act.
People to walk with.

Bring the real leadership questions. Make time to work on them. Return to your organization with a clearer next step.

Explore your fit
01

Teaching & implementation

Two group sessions each month, combining guided learning with practical work on the challenges leaders bring to the fellowship.

02

Personal leadership attention

Quarterly individual conversations with Danny to explore your context, identify blind spots, and consider your next steps.

03

A community of practice

Connect with fellow leaders between sessions. Share learning with discretion, without sharing identifying details about sensitive situations.

04

Work that follows you home

Turn learning into commitments, conversation practices, and review rhythms your leadership team can put to work.

The schedule, delivery details, and participation terms will be reviewed before enrollment.

A CLEAR COMMITMENT

Honor must
make room
for the truth.

Honor language has raised serious questions about whose interests are protected when leaders are challenged. Those questions deserve a direct response.

In this fellowship, honor means treating people with dignity while holding leaders responsible for their actions. It must never be used to silence concerns, shield misconduct, or put an organization’s reputation ahead of people’s safety.

  • People’s safety and dignity come before platforms.
  • Concerns deserve to be heard without intimidation or retaliation.
  • Accountability includes appropriate independent expertise and outside scrutiny.
  • Forgiveness does not remove consequences or automatically restore someone to leadership.

The fellowship does not investigate allegations or replace safeguarding professionals, independent investigations, or reporting obligations.

WHO BELONGS AT THIS TABLE?

For leaders willing
to do the work.

Designed primarily for pastors and ministry leaders. Christian business owners who share these commitments are welcome.

  • You have responsibility for a team, church, ministry, or business.
  • You want honest feedback, including about your own leadership.
  • You are willing to address difficult patterns and involve others in change.
  • You can make room for a year of learning and implementation.

This is leadership development. It is not a crisis-response service, a route to reputation repair, or a certification in safeguarding.

BEFORE YOU APPLY

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Can a church really be “scandal-proof”?

No organization can be guaranteed free of misconduct, allegations, or crisis. The phrase names the aspiration behind this offer: to strengthen the culture and practices that support accountability, responsible leadership, and the protection of people. Outcomes depend on your context and implementation.

Is this only for churches?

Pastors and ministry leaders are the primary audience. Christian business owners who want to build a healthy, accountable organization are also welcome to apply. The fit conversation will explore whether the fellowship serves your context.

What is the investment?

This is a paid, 12-month fellowship. Founding cohort investment, payment options, and all participation terms are discussed during the application process, before you make a decision. Applying does not commit you to enroll.

What happens after I apply?

Once applications are open, the team will review your role, context, and goals. If there appears to be a fit, the next step is a conversation to discuss the fellowship, answer questions, and review the commitment before enrollment.

What if we are dealing with an active allegation?

The fellowship is not an emergency, investigative, legal, or safeguarding service. An active allegation needs appropriate qualified support and relevant reporting processes. Please do not include names, allegations, or sensitive case details in an application.

Does this replace our board or professional advisers?

No. It supports leadership development alongside your existing governance. It does not replace your board, legal counsel, HR, clinical care, safeguarding specialists, or independent investigation.

THE NEXT STEP

Build a culture
worthy of
their trust.
